Foreign Ticket Agency Mandate

1. Agreement & Relationship

This Foreign Ticket Agency Mandate (the “Mandate”) forms part of the contractual terms governing supported foreign lottery ticket procurement through MagicLotto. It must be read together with the MagicLotto Terms of Use.

A customer submitting an accepted foreign ticket request authorises the appointment of the applicable country-specific Local Ticket Agent to carry out the physical purchase and custody functions described in this Mandate.

2. Country-Specific Local Ticket Agents

MagicLotto uses different Local Ticket Agents for different lottery countries. A Local Ticket Agent is an individual natural person who is physically present in the country where the relevant official lottery ticket is purchased. A Local Ticket Agent is not required to be an incorporated company and accordingly may have no company registration number.

By way of example, tickets for a United States lottery are procured by a Local Ticket Agent in the United States, while tickets for a German lottery are procured by a Local Ticket Agent in Germany. The applicable agent is determined by the country in which the relevant official lottery is conducted and sold.

The identity of the Local Ticket Agent allocated to a procurement request and the relevant procurement country are retained as part of MagicLotto's transaction and procurement records and may be made available where reasonably required for verification, a prize claim, dispute, audit or lawful request.

3. Appointment & Authority

For each accepted foreign ticket request, the customer authorises the applicable Local Ticket Agent to act as ticket-procurement and custody agent for that request. The authority is limited to actions reasonably necessary to purchase, retain, verify and, where applicable, assist with claiming the genuine official ticket.

• The mandate is transaction-specific and does not authorise the agent to use customer funds for unrelated purposes.
• The agent does not conduct the official lottery, set odds, determine winning numbers or guarantee an official prize.
• No procurement mandate is completed where the requested ticket cannot actually be purchased before the applicable cut-off.

4. Genuine Physical Ticket Procurement

Every accepted foreign lottery request must be backed by a genuine official ticket physically purchased in the relevant lottery country by the applicable Local Ticket Agent from a local retail shop or other physical sales outlet authorised to sell that official lottery.

• The ticket is not created or issued by MagicLotto.
• The ticket is not a simulated ticket, derivative, insurance product or internal promise to mirror an official lottery result.
• If the physical ticket is not successfully purchased, the request is not treated as an official winning lottery ticket merely because the selected numbers later match an official draw.

5. Foreign Ticket Custody

Unless the official lottery rules require otherwise, the original physical ticket remains in the country in which it was purchased and is held in custody for the customer. The original ticket is not ordinarily transported to South Africa or Namibia merely because the customer resides there.

A scan, photograph, transaction record or ticket reference shown to the customer is evidence relating to the procurement record but does not replace the original ticket where the official operator requires presentation of the original physical ticket.

6. Ticket Cost & Service Fees

Amounts charged for a foreign ticket request may include the cost allocated to procuring the official ticket and disclosed service, administration or messenger charges. MagicLotto may charge for the services involved in receiving instructions, administration, customer support, procurement coordination, records and related functions.

A MagicLotto charge is not represented as the official printed retail price of the foreign lottery ticket unless expressly stated as such.

7. Procurement Evidence & Records

MagicLotto and/or the applicable Local Ticket Agent may retain reasonable evidence that the ticket was genuinely purchased, including the original ticket, ticket image or scan, retailer details where available, purchase date/time, draw date, ticket or transaction reference and custody information.

These records may be used to verify procurement, reconcile results, investigate a dispute, support a prize claim or respond to a lawful audit or regulatory request.

8. Prizes & Claims

• Prize entitlement is determined solely under the rules and official result of the relevant foreign lottery operator.
• Where permitted, smaller prizes may be collected locally by the Local Ticket Agent on the customer's behalf and administered in accordance with the customer's MagicLotto account and applicable law.
• For a major prize or where the operator requires personal attendance, the customer may be required to travel to the lottery country and personally complete the operator's identity, tax, banking and claim procedures.
• The original physical ticket may be released or presented for a valid claim in the manner required by the official lottery rules.
• Neither MagicLotto nor the Local Ticket Agent can override an official operator's validation or prize-claim decision.

10. Legality & Official Operator Rules

All procurement remains subject to applicable law, payment and banking requirements, the rules of the official lottery and the lawful ability of the Local Ticket Agent to purchase and hold the ticket in the relevant country. A request may be rejected, suspended or cancelled where a legal, regulatory, banking, fraud, sanctions, retailer or operator-rule issue prevents lawful procurement.

Nothing in this Mandate authorises false residency information, VPN/location spoofing, payment misdescription, sham gifts, nominee arrangements or any other attempt to conceal a material fact from a bank, regulator, court, tax authority or lottery operator.

11. Role of MagicLotto

Reboot Internet Technology CC trading as MagicLotto provides the customer-facing platform and associated administration, including receiving customer instructions, account services, support, records, verification and coordination with the applicable Local Ticket Agent. MagicLotto is not the official operator of the foreign lottery, does not conduct the draw and does not issue the official foreign ticket.

MagicLotto's role must be understood together with the full Terms of Use.

12. Customer Instructions & Duties

• The customer must provide accurate selections, draw details and account information.
• The customer must meet the applicable age and eligibility requirements.
• The customer must cooperate with reasonable identity, banking and prize-claim verification.
• The customer is responsible for reviewing the selected lottery, draw and numbers before confirming an instruction.

13. Failed Procurement & Refunds

If an accepted request cannot be physically procured before the relevant cut-off, MagicLotto may cancel the affected request and apply the applicable refund, reversal or account-credit process. A failed procurement does not create a right to a prize based solely on a later matching official result.

14. Verification & Audit Trail

To establish the genuine nature of the messenger/agency service, MagicLotto may keep an audit trail covering the customer instruction, applicable lottery country, allocated Local Ticket Agent, purchase and draw information, ticket evidence, custody, result and any prize-claim activity, subject to applicable privacy and record-retention law.

15. Terms, Privacy & Acceptance

This Mandate supplements the MagicLotto Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, mandatory applicable law and the official lottery operator's rules prevail to the extent that they cannot lawfully be contracted out of.

By submitting a foreign ticket request after this Mandate has been made available to you, you acknowledge the genuine physical-ticket procurement and foreign-custody model described above.
