MagicLotto is an independent South African technology, administration and lottery ticket-messenger service operated by Reboot Internet Technology CC. It has served customers since 2007.

For official lottery products, MagicLotto does not run the lottery draw. You submit an entry or ticket-procurement instruction and MagicLotto arranges the applicable ticket purchase or entry process on your behalf, subject to the relevant rules and availability. Read more on the About Us, Terms of Use and Foreign Ticket Agency Mandate pages.

Use the Register option on MagicLotto and complete the requested account details. Your registered email address becomes the main email associated with your account.

After registration, verify your mobile number if you want to claim the current R10 mobile-verification welcome credit, subject to promotion eligibility.

Your login username is your registered email address. Use that email address together with your password on the MagicLotto login page.

Use the password-reset option on the login page. Follow the link sent to the email address registered on your account.

If the reset email does not arrive, check spam or junk folders and make sure you are using the same email address that was used to register. If you still need help, contact MagicLotto Support.

No. Your account can remain active for depositing and playing before FICA verification is complete.

FICA / identity and banking verification is required before you can withdraw winnings. Mobile verification and FICA verification are separate processes.

Mobile verification confirms your cellphone number and is used for account security and the current R10 mobile-verification bonus where eligible.

FICA / account verification checks identity, banking and residential-address documents. It is not required simply to deposit or play, but it is required before withdrawing winnings.

Log in to My Account. From there you can access your lottery ticket history, transaction history, My Lucky Numbers, My MatchPlay Predictions, loyalty information, referral activity and notification preferences.

Accounts that are not activated may be removed after the activation period. If your unactivated account is no longer available, register again using the correct details and complete activation promptly.

Yes. Use the Close Account option available in your account area or contact support if you need assistance.

Before closing, review any wallet balances, winnings, pending withdrawals and active ticket entries. Information that MagicLotto is legally required to retain for regulatory, fraud-prevention, accounting or compliance purposes may still be retained after closure.

You should use one genuine account with accurate personal information. Duplicate or false accounts may cause verification, promotion or security problems and may be restricted under the Terms of Use.

With a MagicLotto Full Ticket, you are buying the entire underlying lottery ticket. You choose the numbers, receive 100% of any winnings attributable to that ticket, and MagicLotto takes care of the ticket-purchase process on your behalf.

Browse current games on Buy Lotto Tickets.

No. MagicLotto is not an official lottery operator and does not conduct the official draws or determine the winning numbers.

Official lottery outcomes are determined by the relevant lottery operator. MagicLotto provides ticket-messenger, administration and account services.

Open the lottery you want to play, choose the required number of main numbers and any required extra number, or use Quick Pick to generate a valid selection automatically.

The number ranges and selection rules shown on the game page are the current rules used by MagicLotto for that lottery.

Quick Pick automatically generates a valid random number selection for the lottery or MatchPlay product you are using. It is simply a convenience tool; it does not improve or reduce the mathematical odds of the draw.

Yes, where the game supports multiple lines. Select the number of lines you want and complete each line before submitting the entry. The ticket summary shows the total cost before you continue.

Some lottery pages offer multi-week options. If available, the page will show the schedule and total cost before purchase. Each draw remains a separate lottery draw and is subject to its own official result.

Each lottery has its own cut-off. The relevant game page shows the current countdown or closing status. Once the cut-off is reached, MagicLotto displays the game as closed and the server blocks the purchase even if an old page, bookmark or direct URL is used.

Do not rely on a cached page; the server-side cut-off check is final.

Usually not once the ticket procurement or order process has begun. Lottery tickets are time-sensitive products and the purchase instruction may already have been sent for execution.

If there is a genuine technical or procurement failure, MagicLotto applies the applicable cancellation, refund or credit process under the Terms of Use.

No. MagicLotto may purchase tickets in bulk through authorised retailers or local agents and does not promise an individual scanned image for every ticket.

Your MagicLotto account and transaction records provide the digital record of your entry. For supported foreign lotteries, procurement and custody records are maintained under the Foreign Ticket Agency Mandate.

Ticket prices and add-on costs are shown on the individual lottery page before you play. Prices can change when official games or MagicLotto service pricing changes, so the live game page is the best source for the current price.

With a MagicLotto Mini Ticket, you are buying a 10% share in a real qualifying lottery ticket. You pay 10% of the applicable ticket price, receive 10% of any winnings attributable to that share, and MagicLotto takes care of the ticket purchase on your behalf.

See available options on Mini Lotto Tickets.

No. A Mini Ticket represents a 10% share. If the underlying ticket wins, your share is 10% of the winnings attributable to that ticket, subject to official rules, statutory deductions and the Mini Ticket terms.

No. Mini Ticket numbers are generated automatically. If you want to choose your own numbers and own the entire underlying ticket, use a Full Ticket instead.

MagicLotto Mini Tickets are structured as shares in an underlying ticket. The platform manages the share allocation automatically, so you only need to select the available Mini Ticket option and quantity shown on the page.

Mini Tickets are offered for selected international lotteries and availability can change. Current options are listed on the Mini Tickets page and may include major US, UK, European and Australian lottery games.

The Mini Ticket share relates to a genuine underlying lottery ticket procured through the applicable MagicLotto ticket-messenger process. The official lottery operator still conducts the draw and validates any prize.

No number selection is required for Mini Tickets because the Mini Ticket numbers are generated automatically. My Lucky Numbers is intended for products where the customer chooses or reuses a number set.

If the underlying lottery prize is subject to tax or statutory withholding, those deductions are applied before the share amount is calculated or settled. See the Lottery Tax Guide for general guidance.

My Lucky Numbers lets you save favourite number combinations for supported lotteries so that you can reuse them later instead of selecting the same numbers again from scratch.

Log in to My Account, open My Lucky Numbers, select the lottery and then choose the saved set you want to review, update or delete.

MagicLotto checks saved Lucky Numbers against the current rules of the selected lottery. If a saved set contains a number that is no longer valid, it is marked Update required and cannot be used until it is corrected or deleted.

The lottery may have changed its rules or number range since you saved the set. MagicLotto prevents an obsolete saved set from loading into a new ticket because silently dropping an invalid number could cause you to play something different from what you intended.

Irish Lotto now uses main numbers 1–45 on MagicLotto. If an older saved set still contains 46 or 47, MagicLotto flags the set as invalid. Replace the invalid number or delete the old saved set before playing it again.

Yes. Open the saved set in My Lucky Numbers, make the required changes and save it, or use Delete Saved Set if you no longer want it.

No. Hot & Cold Numbers are a historical reference showing past frequency. Lottery draws are random, and previous results do not change the probability of the next independent draw.

The Lottery Calculator helps explain mathematical lottery odds. It is an educational tool and does not predict future winning numbers.

For the current SA Lotto game on MagicLotto, choose 6 main numbers from 1 to 52. The live game page always shows the valid range and current add-ons.

Play or review the current format on SA Lotto.

The South African Lotto format changed in 2026. MagicLotto now uses the current 1–52 main-number range. Saved Lucky Numbers are validated so that old out-of-range selections cannot be reused accidentally.

Lotto Plus 1 is an optional additional SA Lotto draw linked to the same selected main numbers. The live SA Lotto page shows the current add-on price before purchase.

Lotto 5 Max is a current additional SA Lotto product shown alongside Lotto and Lotto Plus 1 on MagicLotto. Eligibility and add-on requirements are displayed on the live SA Lotto page.

MagicLotto’s current SA Lotto purchase page uses Lotto, Lotto Plus 1 and Lotto 5 Max. Older Lotto Plus 2 result history may still exist for historic draws, but it should not be treated as the current purchase option.

SA Lotto MultiPlay 1 allows you to select 7 main numbers, creating 7 six-number combinations for the draw. The live ticket summary shows the price before you submit.

SA Lotto MultiPlay 2 allows you to select 8 main numbers, creating 28 six-number combinations. Because it creates multiple combinations, it costs more than a standard single line.

Under the current SA Lotto prize structure used by MagicLotto, Division 8 is the match-2-numbers prize division. Always refer to the published result and prize breakdown for the final official payout.

Choose 5 main numbers from 1–50 and 1 PowerBall number from 1–16. The live SA PowerBall page shows the current ticket price and closing time.

PowerBall Xtra is an optional additional draw linked to the same selected PowerBall numbers. If you select it, the extra cost is added to your ticket summary before purchase.

PowerBall MultiPlay 1 lets you select 6 main numbers plus 1 PowerBall, generating 6 valid PowerBall combinations.

PowerBall MultiPlay 2 lets you select 7 main numbers plus 1 PowerBall, generating 21 valid PowerBall combinations.

No. MultiPlay simply creates more valid combinations from a larger set of selected numbers. Every generated combination is still subject to the same random official draw.

Visit SA PowerBall Results. PowerBall Xtra results are also available through the MagicLotto results area.

Displayed jackpots are estimates supplied or calculated from available draw information and may change when the official operator updates the jackpot or rollover status. The official validated prize is always the final amount.

Availability changes over time, but MagicLotto currently provides access to a range of major international lotteries including games from the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal and Australia.

Browse the current list on Buy Lotto Tickets.

For supported foreign lotteries, MagicLotto arranges for a country-specific Local Ticket Agent in the relevant lottery country to procure a genuine official ticket from an authorised local retailer and hold the original ticket there for the customer.

See the Foreign Ticket Agency Mandate.

The redesigned Mega Millions game introduced a built-in multiplier with each standard play. A non-jackpot prize can be multiplied by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X depending on the multiplier assigned to that play.

The jackpot itself is not multiplied. Read the Mega Millions Multiplier guide.

No. Under the current game format, the multiplier is included with the play and assigned according to the official game mechanics. It is not the old optional Megaplier selection.

The Superzahl is part of the German Lotto 6aus49 prize structure. It is not treated like an ordinary seventh main ball. See MagicLotto’s German Superzahl guide for a detailed explanation.

French Loto uses a separate Chance number as part of its game and prize structure. The live French Lotto page shows how the number is handled for current entries, and MagicLotto also has a Chance Number guide.

The current Irish Lotto main-number range on MagicLotto is 1–45 and players choose 6 main numbers. The official bonus number is drawn by the lottery; it is not an additional number the customer selects on MagicLotto.

Where offered, Double Play is an additional US PowerBall draw using the eligible PowerBall entry under the official product rules. If available for the current draw, MagicLotto shows it as an optional add-on and publishes separate Double Play results.

US jackpots are often advertised as an annuity headline amount. A cash option can be lower before tax, and statutory federal and possibly state withholding may reduce the amount further for a non-US resident. See the Lottery Tax Guide.

German lottery prize settlement can take longer because prize validation and settlement can depend on the applicable German federal state and the local ticket-procurement process. A published result does not always mean the prize has already been released for settlement.

No. Tax depends on the lottery and the jurisdiction in which the official ticket is purchased. Some jurisdictions generally pay prizes tax-free, while others apply withholding or threshold taxes. See Lottery Taxes Explained.

No. Under the current Foreign Ticket Agency Mandate, a supported foreign-lottery request is an instruction to procure a genuine official physical lottery ticket. MagicLotto does not replace that ticket with an internal synthetic bet.

A country-specific Local Ticket Agent located in the relevant lottery country purchases the genuine ticket from a local authorised retail outlet, subject to availability, local law and official lottery rules.

The original ticket is normally retained in the country where it was purchased, in custody under the Foreign Ticket Agency Mandate, unless the official rules or a prize claim require a different process.

The customer remains the beneficial owner of the ticket or ticket interest procured under the mandate, subject to the applicable product terms and official lottery rules. The Local Ticket Agent acts as procurement and custody agent.

If procurement fails, MagicLotto may cancel the request and apply the applicable refund or account-credit process. A right to an official prize does not arise merely because requested numbers later match if the genuine official ticket was not successfully procured.

Not necessarily. The relevant agent and procurement-country records are retained as part of MagicLotto’s transaction and audit trail and may be used where reasonably required for verification, a claim, dispute, audit or lawful request.

Possibly. Major prizes can be subject to the official lottery operator’s personal-claim rules. If travel or personal attendance is required, MagicLotto will provide guidance and assist with the claim process, but the official lottery’s rules control the claim.

Where the official rules allow it, smaller prizes may be collected locally through the applicable agent or claim process and then settled to the customer. The exact process depends on the lottery and prize amount.

US lotteries are state-based. The Local Ticket Agent’s purchase jurisdiction can affect state tax, claim procedure and prize rules. If you win a major US prize, MagicLotto will confirm the relevant purchase jurisdiction and claim steps.

MatchPlay is MagicLotto’s current sports-prediction product family. You make 1 / X / 2 predictions across the fixtures or events shown for the selected MatchPlay game.

Browse current games on Play MatchPlay.

Current MatchPlay products include MatchPlay 8, MatchPlay 13, MatchPlay 14, MatchPlay 9/14 and MatchPlay 14 Omni-Sports. Use the live Play MatchPlay page to see the current issues.

  • 1 = the home side / first-listed selection wins.
  • X = draw where the product supports a draw outcome.
  • 2 = the away side / second-listed selection wins.

Always use the fixture and outcome labels shown on the live coupon.

A base board is one set of predictions before Multi-Play combinations are expanded. The live MatchPlay page limits the number of base boards allowed for that product.

Multi-Play lets you select more than one possible outcome on eligible fixtures. The system then generates the corresponding paid combinations. More selections can create many combinations, so always review the calculated total before playing.

Current MatchPlay coupons show R2 per generated combination. The live page and ticket summary are authoritative if pricing changes.

Yes. Current MatchPlay pages enforce a maximum coupon value of R2,000. The page calculates generated combinations and total cost before submission.

MagicLotto closes MatchPlay entries 90 minutes before the first fixture on the applicable issue. When the cut-off is reached, the game shows Closed and the server rejects late play.

No. Cut-off protection is enforced server-side as well as on the page. An old tab, bookmarked URL or manually entered address cannot be used to submit a valid MatchPlay entry after the cut-off.

Log in to My Account and open My MatchPlay Predictions. Results are also published under MatchPlay Results.

MatchPlay 8 contains 8 football fixtures. For each fixture you predict both the First Half (45 min) outcome and the Second Half (45 min) outcome, giving 16 predictions in total.

The current MatchPlay 8 coupon allows a maximum of 4 base boards. Multi-Play can create additional paid combinations from those boards.

The current price is R2 per generated combination, subject to the live page at the time you play.

Yes. Quick Pick can generate the required predictions automatically. You can still review the board and total cost before playing.

Open MatchPlay 8. The live page shows the current issue, fixtures, closing time, estimated jackpot and ticket summary.

MatchPlay 13 contains 13 football fixtures. Choose 1, X or 2 for each fixture according to the outcome you predict.

The current MatchPlay 13 coupon allows up to 3 base boards. Multi-Play selections can generate additional paid combinations.

The current MatchPlay 13 page uses R2 per generated combination and a maximum coupon value of R2,000.

Yes, where Multi-Play is available. Selecting multiple outcomes creates additional combinations and therefore increases the ticket cost.

Open MatchPlay 13 for the current fixtures and issue.

MatchPlay 14 contains 14 football fixtures. Select 1, X or 2 for each fixture.

The current MatchPlay 14 coupon allows up to 3 base boards.

Yes. Multi-Play can create extra paid combinations when you select more than one outcome on eligible fixtures.

The live page currently uses R2 per generated combination, with the R2,000 maximum coupon-value control.

MatchPlay 9/14 means you select exactly 9 of the 14 listed fixtures on each board. Leave the other 5 fixtures blank. It does not mean “9 or 14”.

Choose 1, X or 2 for each of the 9 fixtures you decide to include.

The current coupon allows up to 3 base boards.

Yes. Multi-Play can generate additional paid combinations on your selected fixtures. The system shows the calculated number of combinations and total cost.

MatchPlay 14 Omni-Sports uses 14 events drawn from multiple sports rather than football only. The current coupon can include sports such as football, rugby, basketball and cricket.

Use the 1 / X / 2 outcomes shown for each event on the live coupon. Because different sports can appear, always follow the labels displayed for that specific event.

The current MatchPlay 14 Omni-Sports coupon allows up to 3 base boards.

The current page uses R2 per generated combination, with a maximum coupon value of R2,000.

Start at Lotto Results and select the lottery you want. Individual results pages show the published winning numbers and, where available, prize breakdown information.

Use the Lotto Ticket Checker to compare your played ticket information with published results.

MagicLotto may display winning numbers in a clear sorted format on result pages. The official lottery result remains the authoritative result if order is relevant to a particular product.

MagicLotto updates account records when ticket results are processed. Winning information can appear in your ticket history / account and notifications can be sent according to your notification settings.

Log in to My Account and open Notification Settings. You can manage the communication options available to your account.

Publishing a draw result and settling a prize are separate steps. The official operator may need to validate the ticket and release the prize before MagicLotto can credit the winnings.

Foreign prizes can require local validation, agent collection, banking and currency conversion. Some jurisdictions, including German state lottery systems, can take longer to complete settlement.

Use MatchPlay Results and choose the applicable MatchPlay product and issue.

MagicLotto’s current operational deposit methods are Card via PayGate, EFT and 4ALL Voucher. Availability can depend on country and account status.

Use the deposit area in My Account for the methods currently enabled for your account.

No. 1Voucher is not a current MagicLotto deposit method. Please use 4ALL Voucher, EFT or Card via PayGate.

No. OTT Voucher is no longer supported. Please use one of the current deposit methods shown in your account.

No. Ozow has been discontinued as a MagicLotto deposit method.

4ALL Voucher is the voucher method currently supported by MagicLotto. It has previously been known in the market as Kazang Voucher / EasyPay Voucher.

4ALL Vouchers are available from participating Flash merchants. Availability varies by merchant, so ask the cashier specifically for a 4ALL Voucher. Some merchants may still recognise the previous names Kazang Voucher or EasyPay Voucher.

Use the banking details shown in your MagicLotto deposit area. Use your registered email address or MagicLotto account number as the payment reference so that the deposit can be allocated correctly.

Yes, if the card and issuing bank permit the transaction. MagicLotto transactions are entered in South African rand. Your issuing bank or card network handles any conversion from your card’s home currency and may apply its own foreign-exchange charges.

A Namibian bank may charge a foreign-exchange or cross-border fee. For example, some customers have seen an N$40 bank forex fee. This is charged by the bank, not by MagicLotto, and customers remain responsible for bank/forex charges.

MagicLotto does not add a hidden deposit fee. Your bank, voucher provider or card issuer may apply its own transaction, foreign-exchange or cross-border charges. Any MagicLotto amount applicable to the transaction is shown before you proceed.

Wallet is your main account balance used for eligible purchases and may include deposited or promotional credit. Winnings Wallet is the balance for cash winnings and other qualifying withdrawable amounts.

Only qualifying Winnings Wallet funds are withdrawable.

No. Promotional / bonus credit is for eligible MagicLotto purchases under the applicable promotion rules and is not cash-withdrawable. Winnings generated from eligible play are handled according to the promotion and withdrawal rules.

Card payments use bank authentication such as 3-D Secure / OTP. If authentication cannot be completed, the cause can be the issuing bank, card settings, OTP delivery, browser session or the authentication response returned to PayGate.

Check that your bank allows online and cross-border e-commerce, retry once, and contact your bank if the OTP or authentication is being rejected. You can also use EFT or 4ALL Voucher.

An Auth Declined response means the card issuer did not authorise the transaction. MagicLotto cannot override an issuer decline. Confirm available funds and card permissions with your bank, or try another supported payment method.

This indicates that the card-authentication process returned a result PayGate could not complete normally. It can occur during the bank’s 3-D Secure / OTP stage. Retry after checking with the issuing bank, or use EFT / 4ALL Voucher.

MagicLotto does not store your full card details for processing. Card transactions are handled through the payment processor, PayGate. Never send your full card number, CVV or OTP to MagicLotto Support.

MagicLotto’s account and transaction amount is in rand. If a foreign card or issuing bank displays a converted amount, that conversion is handled by the card network or bank. The MagicLotto purchase itself should still be based on the ZAR amount you entered.

Send the payment proof, date, amount, bank used and the reference you entered. Include the email address registered on your MagicLotto account. Do not send online-banking passwords or login credentials.

Usually support can investigate if you provide clear proof of payment and the correct MagicLotto account details. Contact Support as soon as possible.

No. Repeated attempts can trigger additional issuer security controls. If the same authentication or decline response repeats, contact the issuing bank or use EFT / 4ALL Voucher.

Verification is required before withdrawing winnings. You do not need to complete FICA simply to keep the account active, deposit funds or play.

Accepted official identity evidence can include a national ID card, identity document/book, passport or another acceptable government-issued identity document. It must clearly show your name, identity/passport number and photo.

If important information appears on both sides, upload the back as well. Passport holders normally need the bio/photo page unless additional information is requested.

A torn, damaged or unreadable identity document may be rejected even if it has been certified. Use a clear valid alternative such as a passport or undamaged official identity document.

Upload an official bank statement or bank account confirmation document. It should show your name, bank, account number and an official date within the last 3 months.

Examples include a utility or local-authority statement, lease/rental agreement, bank statement showing your residential address, or official insurer, medical, telecom, financial or government correspondence.

The document should show your name, physical residential address and an official date within the last 3 months.

Yes, if the same official bank document clearly shows both the required banking information and your residential address.

A valid rental / lease agreement or a bank statement showing your physical address can be used. If your circumstances are unusual, send the available documents to the FICA team for manual review.

Use any official document available to you that reasonably proves your residential address, such as a bank statement, rental agreement or recognised official correspondence. If none of the standard examples are available, contact fica@magiclotto.co.za for manual-review guidance.

MagicLotto’s current verification form requires bank and address documents dated within the last 3 months.

The current secure upload accepts PDF, JPG/JPEG and PNG, subject to the file-size limits shown on the verification page. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed.

Your name and identity information should match the account information. If your legal name has changed or there is a genuine discrepancy, contact the FICA team with supporting documentation before attempting a withdrawal.

The current minimum withdrawal for South African customers is R50 from qualifying Winnings Wallet funds.

The current minimum withdrawal for customers outside South Africa is R105, subject to country, bank and compliance requirements.

Only qualifying funds in your Winnings Wallet can be withdrawn. Your normal Wallet may contain deposits or promotional credits that are intended for eligible MagicLotto purchases rather than cash withdrawal.

Yes. Identity, banking and address verification must be completed before MagicLotto can release a withdrawal.

eWallet withdrawals are available only to South African residents. Customers outside South Africa should use EFT or another withdrawal method specifically made available to their account.

Yes. A South African bank account is not a general requirement for a Namibian customer. Use the withdrawal method available to your account and make sure your bank details have been verified.

The current withdrawal processing rule for South African customers is 5% of the withdrawal amount. The exact amount is shown during the withdrawal process.

Under the current withdrawal rules, a non-South-African withdrawal of R601 or less carries a R40 fee; above R601 the fee is 5%. Any additional receiving-bank or cross-border charges are outside MagicLotto’s control.

Approved withdrawals are generally released within 1 business day. After release, the receiving bank can take approximately 1–3 business days to reflect the funds.

MagicLotto can only settle a lottery prize after it has been validated and received through the applicable official lottery / claim process. Foreign prizes, major prizes and certain jurisdictions can take longer than an ordinary account withdrawal.

There is no single general platform maximum for ordinary qualifying Winnings Wallet withdrawals, but banking limits, compliance reviews, prize-claim rules and method-specific limits can apply.

A withdrawal may require review because verification is incomplete, banking details do not match, a prize is still being validated, transaction activity needs compliance review, or the payment method has additional requirements.

No. MagicLotto does not take a percentage commission from an official lottery prize. Statutory tax, official deductions and normal bank/transfer charges can still affect the amount received.

South African lottery prizes such as SA Lotto, SA PowerBall and SA Daily Lotto are generally tax-free as lottery prizes. Income later earned by investing winnings can have normal tax consequences.

See Lottery Taxes Explained.

These lottery prizes are generally paid without lottery tax in their home jurisdictions, subject to current law and the exact ticket / prize circumstances.

Usually yes for a non-US resident. US federal withholding commonly applies and state-level tax can also depend on the state where the ticket was purchased. The final amount can therefore be significantly lower than the advertised headline jackpot.

Some prizes in Italy, Portugal and Spain are subject to tax above applicable thresholds. The official lottery / local authority applies the relevant deduction before settlement.

No. EuroJackpot tax treatment can depend on the participating country where the genuine ticket was purchased. MagicLotto confirms the relevant purchase jurisdiction for a winning ticket.

MagicLotto will contact you and coordinate the claim steps applicable to that lottery. Major prizes can require identity checks, original-ticket presentation, legal documentation and personal attendance at the official lottery operator.

Anonymity depends on the official lottery and the jurisdiction in which the ticket was purchased. MagicLotto does not publish a customer’s identity simply for marketing purposes, but official disclosure rules may apply to a major prize.

Some US jackpots advertise an annuity amount paid over many years while also offering a lower immediate cash option. Taxes are then applied according to the applicable rules. The headline jackpot is therefore not always the same as the cash amount a winner ultimately receives.

Qualifying winnings can remain in your account, be used for eligible future purchases, or be withdrawn subject to verification and withdrawal rules.

Differences can arise from annuity-vs-cash elections, statutory tax, official deductions, currency conversion and the exact prize settlement rules. MagicLotto does not replace those official calculations with its own synthetic payout.

The current headline welcome promotion matches the first qualifying deposit 100% in bonus wallet credit. For example, a qualifying R500 deposit can receive R500 bonus credit, subject to the promotion terms, limits and eligibility.

See Promotions for the current conditions.

The current promotion page states that the qualifying first deposit must be made within 30 days of registration. Always check the live promotion terms in case the offer changes.

No. The bonus is promotional wallet credit for eligible purchases and cannot itself be withdrawn as cash.

Create your account and successfully verify your mobile number. If you are eligible, the R10 promotional credit is added automatically; no bonus code is required.

No. Mobile verification is the qualifying verification for this welcome credit. FICA is a separate process required before withdrawing winnings.

No. The promotion is intended for eligible new customers and is subject to fair-use controls, including one bonus per person and anti-duplicate-account rules.

Weekly Deposit Bonus offers can add an extra percentage to a qualifying deposit during selected promotional windows. The percentage, time window, minimum/maximum and any code requirement can vary, so check Promotions before depositing.

MagicLotto may send occasional customer rewards such as promotional wallet credit, discounted entries or other limited offers. Each reward has its own validity period and conditions.

The current promotions page includes a monthly Trustpilot review promotion where an honest customer review can qualify for a chance to receive a R1,000 wallet voucher, subject to the published terms.

Promotional credit is separate from cash winnings and may have its own usage rules. Loyalty points and referral rewards are tracked separately. Only qualifying Winnings Wallet funds are withdrawable.

The Loyalty Program rewards eligible customer activity with redeemable points and tracks lifetime points for tier status. Your current balances and tier are shown on the Loyalty page inside My Account.

Current / Redeemable Points are points available for redemption. Lifetime Points track your all-time qualifying points and are used to determine your loyalty tier.

Your lifetime points determine the tier applied to your account. Current cashback rates displayed by MagicLotto are Bronze 0%, Silver 2.5%, Gold 3.5% and Platinum 5%.

Eligible ticket activity earns cashback according to the tier currently applied to your account. The cashback is credited as Redeemable Points under the Loyalty Program rules.

The current Loyalty page uses a redemption value of 1 point = R0.25. If the program is changed, the value shown on your live Loyalty page is authoritative.

No. The current Loyalty page allows you to redeem any available number of points; there is no minimum redemption amount.

Redeeming Current Points does not reset your Lifetime Points. Tier status is based on lifetime qualifying points rather than only the current redeemable balance.

Open Loyalty in My Account to see your current points, lifetime points, tier, cashback rate and redemption information.

Log in to My Account and open Referrals. You can copy your personal referral link / code or send referral invitations from the page.

The current referral page allows you to send invitations to up to five email addresses at a time.

On the current referral dashboard, an active referral means the referred account has completed its first deposit.

The referral dashboard shows your total referral earnings and a Referral Rewards Ledger with the base amount, reward rate, reward amount, status and date.

Referral reward rates can be changed or run under specific program rules. Rather than relying on an old fixed percentage, use the rate shown in your current Referral Rewards Ledger or the active referral terms.

No. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts and manufactured referral activity can be rejected or reversed under anti-abuse and compliance rules.

Referral rewards are handled according to the current referral and wallet rules. The account ledger shows credited rewards; withdrawal remains subject to qualifying Winnings Wallet status and completed verification.

Fun Games are separate digital entertainment experiences available on MagicLotto, including categories such as Instant Win, ScratchCard, Keno-style games, Table Games and Video Slots.

No. Fun Games are separate from official lottery ticket procurement. Official lottery entries follow the ticket-messenger / procurement process; Fun Games operate under their own platform terms.

No. Fun Game credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. They are in-platform entertainment credits.

The current platform rules generally cap Fun Game credit at R1,000 per play unless a lower limit is displayed for the specific experience.

Credits can be used only in the ways permitted by MagicLotto’s platform rules, such as additional eligible entertainment play or permitted lottery-entry purchases. They are not cash.

No. Official lottery winnings come from a validated official lottery ticket / prize process. Fun Game credits are platform entertainment credits and are not treated as cash lottery winnings.

No. MagicLotto will never ask you to send your password or One-Time PIN (OTP) by email, phone or message. Do not share banking login details, full card numbers or OTPs with support.

Be suspicious if someone says you won a lottery you never entered, asks for an upfront “release” or “processing” payment, requests banking passwords/OTPs, or pressures you to keep the claim secret.

A genuine MagicLotto winning notification relates to a real entry recorded in the customer’s MagicLotto account. If you cannot verify the ticket or transaction in your account, treat the message as suspicious and contact support independently.

Log in directly at magiclotto.co.za rather than clicking an unexpected message link. Check your ticket history / winnings information and contact Support if anything looks unusual.

MagicLotto uses secure web connections and processes personal information under its current Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements, including POPIA where applicable. See the Privacy Policy.

Identity, bank and address data is used for account security, FICA/KYC, fraud prevention, lawful payout and compliance purposes. MagicLotto asks customers to submit documents through the designated secure process.

Use the secure verification upload where available. If the FICA team asks for documents by email, use fica@magiclotto.co.za. Never include passwords or OTPs.

Change your password immediately, review account and transaction history, and contact MagicLotto Support. If card or banking information may also be compromised, contact your bank.

Do not falsify your location or identity to get around product, jurisdiction or age restrictions. Access is subject to the Terms of Use and applicable local law.

MagicLotto currently services customers in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Uganda, subject to local law, product availability, payment availability and the Terms of Use.

You must meet the legal minimum age that applies to you and the product you use. In South Africa, MagicLotto is 18+.
